Empowering Families with Compassionate and Knowledgeable Lactation Support
I believe every family deserves access to accurate information, compassionate care, and support that honors their unique circumstances. Feeding your baby is not one-size-fits-all, and my goal is to empower you with knowledge and confidence while supporting your individual feeding goals.
My Background
I am a Registered Nurse specializing in maternal–newborn care and a Certified Lactation Consultant, with clinical experience supporting families during pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period. My nursing background allows me to approach lactation care with a strong foundation in maternal and infant health, safety, and evidence-based practice.
In addition to my clinical training, I have a background in sociology, which shapes how I approach care. This perspective helps me bridge medical knowledge with an understanding of the social, cultural, and structural factors that influence infant feeding. I believe effective lactation support goes beyond physiology — it must also consider lived experience, access to resources, and community context.
My Approach to Care
My approach is family-centered, collaborative, and non-judgmental. I work alongside families to create feeding plans that align with their values, goals, and circumstances. Whether your journey includes exclusive breastfeeding, pumping, combination feeding, or exploring alternative options, my goal is to provide support that is respectful, realistic, and empowering.
I strive to create a safe, supportive space where questions are welcomed and families feel heard.
